An Evening with Etienne Stott – Paddling for Gold – a story of Olympic success and beyond

On Tuesday 7th March at 7pm (doors open at 6.30pm)

At  Kirkbie Kendal School Hall  Adults £7 and U16 / Students £5 (Pay on the door)

Etienne will talk about his journey to Olympic Gold and how this has been translated and applied in other contexts ranging from sport to business to life style.  Etienne has successfully applied techniques of meditation and mindfulness to help people unleash their potential.  His talk will appeal to anyone with an interest in sport and beyond.

Olympic Champion London 2012, TEDx presenter and inspirational leadership speaker to big business and sports teams including Tesco, HSBC, Transport for London, British Para-Triathlon, Team GB Rugby 7s and many more.

An Evening with Deb Pinniger – Fast waters, Still Moments

On Tuesday 14th March at 7pm (doors open at 6.30pm)

Deb Pinninger – World freestyle champion, twice silver medalist European Championship and five times British Champion.  As well as coaching, leading expeditions and taking stunning photographs!   Deb will speak about her life in relation to white-water kayaking; how she began, becoming world freestyle champion and some of the expeditions she participated in, including those to Iran, Gabon and the Indian Himalaya. Deb will illustrate her presentation with captivating black and white negative images, that explore the cultures and landscapes of the places she has kayaked through. Adventure stories with a real visual treat!
