How to become a club leader

If you have appropriate BC qualifications, you will be added to the club list of approved leaders. If you do NOT have appropriate BC qualifications, you will need to complete a self-evaluation and agree your leadership status at a review meeting. The self-evaluation process starts with an online from, which should take you about 20 minutes to complete.

In the first instance please contact Paul Savage to express your interest in doing the self-evaluation.

Leaders 3 year review form

We hope you will find the self-review supportive. It will help you consider your current skill set and experience, then identify how you might become a more effective, safer trip leader. A meeting will then be arranged to confirm your leader status

After your review meeting LCC can help you gain qualifications or may provide training to assist you.
